I am a college instructor of speech communication. I also coach intercollegiate speech and debate. I am very interested in current events and I like to discuss/debate issues with others. I love teaching, but sometimes wish my students were more aware of what was going on in the world. There is something out there to ignite everyone’s passion, its just a matter of finding it. That’s what I love about intercollegiate speech and debate – it provides a forum where its not only okay, but its REWARDED to be interested, aware and passionate about current events. Its a rare thing in today’s world! I want to help provide everyone with the proper tools to become an advocate for whatever it is they believe in.
